Created in a Good Way.

Our story

I am a Status Mi’gmaw living in Mi’gma’gi, along the shores of the Restigouche River in northern New Brunswick. This is my traditional territory—land that my ancestors have called home since time immemorial.

Si’st Sipu (pronounced Siist Si•bu), meaning “Three Rivers” in Mi’gmaq, is the name of one of my grandmothers. It also symbolizes the three rivers of knowledge and plant medicine teachings I’ve received from Elders across North, Central, and South America.

My journey with plant medicine began more than a decade ago while living among the volcanic highlands of Guatemala. Though I’ve always felt a deep connection to plants, it was through time spent with Mayan Elders that my understanding truly flourished. Their generous sharing of traditional knowledge deepened my relationship with the healing power of plants. Since returning home to my traditional territory, I’ve continued weaving these teachings together with those of the Mi’gmaq and other Indigenous Nations across Turtle Island and beyond.

With over 25 years of experience as a hairstylist and makeup artist, I’ve also built a strong foundation in the beauty industry. This background, combined with my knowledge of traditional plant medicines, allows me to craft products that are rooted in both cultural tradition and scientific understanding. I am deeply familiar with the science of skincare and haircare, and we work only with high-quality raw materials—organic and wildcrafted herbs, flowers, and resins that nourish and heal the body.

Our products are a fusion of ancestral teachings and modern science, created in a Good Way—with respect, intention, and care.
